Production manager/kenitra - casablanca

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Production Manager to oversee our automotive manufacturing operations. In this role, you will lead daily plant activities, optimize manufacturing workflows, and manage production budgets to meet strict delivery targets. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and ensuring a safe, compliant working environment for all plant personnel.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Direct daily assembly and production schedules to achieve volume targets, minimize downtime, and meet customer deadlines.
Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and eliminate waste.
Quality Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to automotive quality frameworks (such as IATF 16949) and coordinate routine quality audits.
Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, monitor production expenses, and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor production supervisors, technicians, and floor staff to cultivate a high-performance culture.
Safety & Compliance: Champion health, safety, and environmental (EH&S) regulations to maintain a zero-accident workplace.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of manufacturing experience within the automotive industry, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with ERP/MES software, production scheduling tools, and data-driven performance metrics.
Certifications: Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certifications (Green or Black Belt) are highly desirable.
Leadership Traits: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decisive decision-making skills.
