Test Case Development and Execution:
Lead the design of test cases for functional, regression, business acceptance testing (BAT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) based on business requirements and user stories Participate in developing the test strategy Lead and execute integration and system tests as part of the development sprints Lead and execute BAT/UAT tests for business validation Lead and execute End-to-End (E2E) tests, ensuring alignment with fully described business workflows Manage and support defect resolutions: bug reports, root cause analysis (when applicable), follow-up, and retest Report and escalate issues to the Test Lead when needed, and propose solutions, options and alternatives Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to optimize resource utilization and meet project deadlines.
Test Reporting and Documentation:
Properly document test cases, test plans, and test execution reports Maintain test processes documentation up to date Prepare documentation release-wise. Prepare documents and conduct progress reporting to relevant stakeholders
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the Test Lead, Subject Matter Experts, and Business Analysts to ensure steady test progress For Agile projects: actively participate in Agile ceremonies to align testing efforts with development goals Coach and mentor Junior team members and help them develop their skills
Automation Testing:
Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression Be a referent in automation and script development for automation using tools such as Playwright with AI assistance
Continuous Improvement:
Engage in regular training sessions to enhance testing skills, including accessibility, performance, and other specialized areas
Stay updated on testing methodologies and tools to contribute to process improvements
Drive the adoption of tools and methodologies, including AI, to enhance testing efficiency
Domain Knowledge: Advanced functional understanding of the insurance sector, with proven experience in life, vehicle, and other insurance products
Stakeholder Management: Consulting approach to client management/communication, strong capacity for transforming data into insights and insights into actions, problem solving orientation, strong involvement in stakeholder interactions, with a focus on understanding their requirements and managing their expectations
Testing Expertise: Advanced knowledge of test design, defect management, and testing principles; being able to lead a defined testing scope, manage/track defects, and present progress to relevant stakeholders
Tools Proficiency: Proficient with Jira and Zephyr, proven experience with Playwright is a significant advantage, other testing tools are a plus
Communication Skills: Excellent ability to communicate effectively both within the team (concise, structured and accurate) and with external stakeholders
AI Proficiency: Experience in leveraging AI tools for testing is desirable
Certifications: ISTQB certifications are a significant advantage
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English + French
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years
