Job description
We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and field-oriented Admissions and Recruitment Officer to join our team in Rabat. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on meeting new people, being out in the field, and directly contributing to the growth of a reputable academic institution.
The majority of this role involves terrain work that closely resembles a sales position. You will be proactively hunting for leads, building relationships, and closing enrolments. You will gather leads throughout the year, build visibility and connections, and prepare strategically for admission periods. The data and exposure you generate will drive student registrations during enrolment phases. You will also be responsible for increasing student retention through creative outreach and community engagement, all while working in a collaborative and friendly workplace.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Outreach Efforts (Fieldwork & Lead Generation)
- Spend 60% of your time on the ground: visiting schools, embassies, companies, and student agencies to build meaningful B2B/B2C relationships and generate high-quality enrolment leads.
- Focus on quality data gathering during outreach: collect, document, and analyse key insights to identify trends, refine targeting, and support data-driven admissions strategies.
- Implement systematic data collection during all field activities to ensure consistency and actionable insights.
- Build and maintain a qualified lead database to be used for follow-ups and highly targeted admissions campaigns.
- Conduct engaging presentations to prospective students, parents, and institutional partners during visits and events.
- Build sustained exposure through year-round networking, PR initiatives, and field activities to boost visibility and ensure strong registration results.
- Use collected data and field-generated leads to strategically prepare for admissions campaigns and maximize student enrolment during key periods.
2. Recruitment Strategy & Lead Nurturing
- Design and execute termly recruitment plans (approved by line manager) to boost visibility and enrollment.
- Run telemarketing campaigns, email outreach, and client follow-ups to nurture leads.
- Manage inquiries and ensure a seamless customer journey from admission to post-enrollment.
3. Student Life & Community Engagement
- Organize weekly/biweekly student activities (events, trips, workshops) in collaboration with student representatives to boost retention and word-of-mouth.
- Oversee student committees, newsletters, and internal marketing initiatives to foster a vibrant campus culture.
- Work closely with student bodies to design activities aligned with their interests.
4. Operational Excellence, Mutualisation & Reporting
- Primary KPI: Achieve enrollment targets; Secondary KPI: Improve student retention rate.
- Submit monthly and weekly performance reports, track KPIs, and refine strategies based on feedback.
- Prepare student files, update databases, and assist with basic financial tasks (invoices, payments).
- Mutualisation of tasks: This role is not limited to SIST Rabat only. You will also support Rabat BLC (British Language Center) responsibilities, including admissions, recruitment, and student coordination tasks for BLC.
