About the Role:We are looking for an engineering student with experience in both software and hardware aspects of RFID technology. The intern will work on RFID firmware development and a mobile application for RFID-based identification. The work includes hands-on experiments with RFID systems, embedded controllers, and field validation.Main Responsibilities: Design and implement firmware for RFID reader modules and embedded systems. Develop a mobile application Android for identification, tag reading, and system monitoring. Integrate RFID hardware with the mobile app using appropriate communication interfaces. Conduct experiments with UHF/HF RFID tags, readers, and antennas for system validation. Assist with debugging, testing, documentation, and performance benchmarking. Collaborate with the RF/RFID engineering team on prototypes and field tests.Preferred Skills : Experience with IoT or embedded applications. Basic understanding of RF principles or signal processing. Familiarity with cloud services (Firebase, AWS IoT, etc.). Experience with Git, Docker, or REST APIs.
Required Profile: Engineering student in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar fields. Experience with RFID hardware/software (UHF/HF readers, tags, antennas). Good understanding of microcontrollers (ARM, ESP32, STM32, etc.). Strong programming skills in C/C++ for firmware and Java/Kotlin or Flutter/React Native for mobile apps. Knowledge of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP). Basic knowledge of RFID standards (EPC Gen2, ISO/IEC) is a strong advantage. Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and motivation to learn.
