Live in hostel receptionist / marrakech

Job Summary:
Our hostel is looking for a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented male receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for managing reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude

Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently

Manage bookings and reservations via phone, email, and online platforms

Provide guests with information about hostel facilities, local attractions, and travel options

Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues

Maintain accurate records of guest information and payments

Assist in coordinating housekeeping and maintenance requests

Process payments and maintain cash handling procedures

Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times

Follow hostel policies and safety procedures

Qualifications amp; Skills:

Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in English and French (additional languages are a plus)

Basic computer skills (experience with booking systems is a plus)

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Friendly, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
