The Azure Cloud Architect will play a critical role in leading the design and implementation of cloud computing strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. The Cloud Architect will collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure that cloud solutions follow best practices and meet business objectives.  

Primary Responsibilities :

• Design and implement cloud-based architectures and solutions to support enterprise applications and data management.

• Deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build and deployment, including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization and identity

• Build of hybrid environments to span existing customer networks and Azure

• Lead cloud adoption and migration efforts, including application assessments and optimizations.

• Provide guidance and expertise on Azure Network Infrastructure around Gateways, Firewalls, Network Load Balancers, Peering

• Develop and maintain cloud governance, security standards, and best practices.

• Collaborate with IT security to ensure cloud environments comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in building cloud-native applications.

• Evaluate new cloud technologies and services to enhance our cloud architecture and services continuously.

• Manage cloud expenses and optimize cloud resource usage and cost.

• Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure successful cloud service delivery.
 

What Skills And Experience You Should Bring :

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in designing and implementing Azure solutions. • Experience of migration and modernization of workloads from customers' onpremise data centers to Azure • Well versed in Windows and has the skills and confidence to learn and work on Linux • Experienced in the use of Azure platform services to create born in the cloud = PaaS solutions • Experience building and deploying Azure resources using IaC • Experience working with or using Azure technologies such as virtual machines, AKS (Kubernetes), blob, queues, tables, Cloud Services, web apps, functions apps, Azure Active Directory, Virtual Networks, etc. • Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure App Services, Azure Storage, Azure Import/Export, Azure SQL Server • Certified on either Azure or AWS at an Architect level. • Expertise as a Cloud Architect or similar role using Azure Cloud. • Hands-on understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure, as well as cloud deployment and service models. • Experience building cloud infrastructure from scratch, including network configuration. • Ability to minimize cloud costs and manage costs closely • Minimum experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools • Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Storage Solution • Azure NetApp solutions • NetApp BlueXP / CVO • Migration & Transformation • Cost Optimization & Integration • WAF & CAF • FinOps Intermediate • SaaS Integration • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Assessment of existing Design and infra and provide recommendations) • Certifications in cloud architecture (Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert / Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.).
