A Casablanca based office is looking for an AutoCAD VBA Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

· Automation: Use VBA to automate repetitive drawing operation, data extraction, assign feature numbers and Color codes as attributes, and file management, transforming tasks that take weeks into hours. · Integration: A significant advantage is the ability to connect AutoCAD with other Windows applications, such as Microsoft Excel or Word, to exchange data dynamically. For example, data from an Excel spreadsheet can be used to generate drawings in AutoCAD. · Customization: Programmers need to create user interfaces (CUIs), toolbars and ribbon interfaces to streamline workflows tailored to specific project’s needs. · Updates: Need to create Menu specific to the daily needs and keep them updated and linked with the library folders · 3D 2D Modeling: Create 2D files using AutoCAD based on 3D models that need to be created based on engineering files. · Export: Create plot files which match the PDF prints · Coordination: Create blocks and layers linked with color SoftPlay product’s color palette, Visual lisp, Loops and error Trapping · Variety: Create menu and blocks for both Imperial and metric unit system. Skills and Attributes: · Fluency in English is mandatory · Ability to prioritize, multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. · Eye for detail and accuracy is imperative. · Strong understanding of modeling, geometry, Line-weight, Layers, colors and textures · Excellent organizational and analytical skills. · Ability to be an effective team member and display teamwork and initiative. · Ability to deal with problems and possess good decision-making, critical thinking skills. · Have proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Outlook. · Exhibit a keen willingness and ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks effectively. · Min of 2 years of experience in Coding, programming preferably within a VBA or
