We are looking for a local Social Media Specialist to support Xiaomi's brand and product communication in Morocco. This role will be responsible for day-to-day operation and planning of Xiaomi's official social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, ensuring strong local relevance, execution efficiency, and alignment with brand strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Planning & Calendar Management
Manage monthly & weekly content calendars for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Coordinate posting schedules aligned with product launches, campaigns, promotions, and retail activities
Ensure timely publishing and content accuracy across platforms
Content Strategy & Localization
Participate in social media content strategy discussions, providing local insights and execution suggestions
Adapt global / regional content into locally relevant storytelling (language, culture, trends)
Work with designers, video editors, and agencies to brief and follow up content production
Platform Operation & Optimization
Manage daily social media operations: posting, basic community interaction, and content moderation
Monitor content performance (reach, engagement, views, followers growth) and provide simple performance summaries
Optimize content formats based on platform trends, especially TikTok short-form video trends
Campaign & KOL Support
Support campaign execution (product launch, store opening, seasonal campaigns, etc.)
Coordinate with KOL / creator content publishing schedules when needed
Assist in collecting UGC and campaign content for reposting or reporting
Must-Have
Moroccan nationality / strong local cultural understanding
0.5-2 years experience in social media operation or digital marketing
Hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Strong sense of content rhythm, posting timing, and platform trends
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow timelines closely
Language
Arabic (Moroccan Arabic preferred) – Native or fluent
English – Working proficiency (for internal communication)
Nice-to-Have
Experience working with consumer electronics, lifestyle, retail, or tech brands
Experience supporting product launches or offline events
Basic understanding of social media ads or boosting logic
